This is one of the few abandoned places, that really made me shudder. The machineries found inside, the colorful rooms, the abandoned diaries, describing the pathologies and delirium moments of the patients, medicine boxes from 70s, containing hallucinogenic components etc… The whole context made me empathetic on those moments and transported me back over time, thinking about the hellish state of these places, allowed in that period in Italy, and which have been completely closed and abandoned since many years. This neuropsychiatric hospital was closed in 1981. It is strange that in the past people were sent to this mental hospitals for insanity, and instead today, crazy minds guide companies and rules the world…
